ecological engineer
Kris Bass Engineering has an immediate opening for an entry or junior level ecological engineer in our Cary, NC office. The position will involve working with our team on innovative stormwater, stream and wetland restoration and dam removal projects. Typical duties will include field assessments, data collection, analysis, design and construction oversight. The position will require regular field work, out of town travel and occasional overnight stays. Our engineers must be eager to learn, participate in and complete all parts of a successful project. Our work typically requires creative ideas, technological advances and healthy doses of sweat and dirt. The successful candidate will have a distaste for cookie-cutter approaches and be ready to invest themselves into challenging and rewarding work.

Job Requirements:
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil3D
• Expertise in Microsoft Office
• Fascination with water flow
• Valid driver’s license
